The Embassy Global Story

THE EMBASSY GLOBAL STORY

Embassy Global was founded in 2008 by Molly Bakewell Chamberlin after nearly a decade of first-hand, in-house global experience within the advanced technology, engineering, and manufacturing industries we continue to serve today.

Those early years shaped the company we would later become.

Working inside multinational technical manufacturers, including PCB Piezotronics, now part of Amphenol, and Enidine, now part of ITT, gave us first-hand experience with the realities facing Sales, Marketing, Business Development and Product Management teams: complex technologies, global customers, engineering priorities, distributor and representative networks, product launches, limited internal resources, competitive pressure and ongoing expectations to deliver measurable commercial growth.

We also experienced first-hand, from the client side, the challenges of bringing outside marketing agencies up to speed through significant industry briefings, technical tutorials, and ongoing guidance before they could effectively support our objectives.

We founded Embassy Global to provide companies with the experienced, industry-specific support that we knew first-hand could be difficult to find from conventional outside agencies.

A DIFFERENT KIND OF INDUSTRY RESOURCE

From the beginning, our model was intentionally focused.

Rather than becoming a generalist marketing or PR agency, we concentrated on the advanced technology, engineering, and manufacturing industries we knew, continually expanding our expertise as those technologies, markets and applications evolved.

That focus has allowed us to build recognized subject-matter expertise across a broad range of interconnected technologies and markets, including semiconductor, aerospace, electronic components, industrial automation, robotics, sensors + testing, photonics, process control, EV + battery technology, AI + quantum technology, industrial sustainability, and related advanced manufacturing sectors.

Over time, our consulting service offerings have also expanded beyond strategic technical Marketing and PR to encompass industry-specific Sales, Business Development, Product Management, global market development, market research, lead generation, SEO, and digital strategy, fractional CMO/CBDO support and C-Suite advisory services.

Our approach remains highly practical: we can help develop the strategy, stay involved to fully execute it, and measure the results.

THE IMPORTANCE OF REMAINING SPECIALIZED

Since 2008, Embassy Global has supported more than 200 advanced technology, engineering, and manufacturing brands in the United States and internationally.

That experience includes:

• 200+ brands supported

• Approximately $40 million in client-reported qualified new business opportunities

• 1,000+ technical and industry articles published in independent B2B trade media

• Publication across 57 countries and 13 languages

• 28 years of focused global industry experience

• Average client tenure of approximately 12 years

Many client relationships have continued for years because we work as an extension of their internal teams. That cohesion allows us to remain highly responsive as client needs evolve and to flexibly expand our support into other areas as priorities change. It also allows us to remain focused on providing trusted guidance and measurable commercial value rather than activity for activity’s sake.

FROM ONE WEBSITE TO COMPONENTS SOURCE NETWORK

In 2017, Embassy Global acquired ComponentsSource.com, a single industry website created by a retired engineer in Bordeaux, France.

Over the next nine years, we painstakingly developed that one site into our wholly owned Components Source Network building both the platform architecture and its audience from the ground up.

Today, Components Source Network encompasses a 22-site B2B technical media, supplier-discovery, and e-marketplace ecosystem, including 11 specialized global technical e-news publications and 11 corresponding peer-nominated and vetted expert e-marketplaces. Its combination of highly specialized technology coverage, interconnected media and marketplace platforms, and an entirely organically developed audience creates an unusually comprehensive industry ecosystem.

Every site within the network has been personally conceived, developed and built by Molly Bakewell Chamberlin as part of a nine-year effort to create a more connected resource for the industries Embassy Global serves.

Industry response has helped the network grow organically from one follower to more than 35,000 and counting.

That growth was not created by purchasing broad audience lists. It was developed over years of direct industry participation and relationship-building within the highly specialized markets we serve.

Components Source Network now gives Embassy Global, our clients and the broader industry community additional opportunities for:

• Technical content visibility and syndication

• Targeted industry audience reach

• Supplier and technology discovery

• SEO and referral visibility

• Demand generation

• Peer-nominated e-marketplace visibility

• Commercial matchmaking and qualified lead development

• Distributor and sales representative development

• Cross-market exposure across interconnected technology sectors

The development of Components Source Network reflects the same philosophy that has guided Embassy Global since its founding: know the industries, understand the technologies and applications, build trusted relationships over time, and create practical ways to turn industry visibility into commercial opportunity.

WHAT HAS NOT CHANGED

Embassy Global has grown considerably since 2008, but the principles behind our model remain remarkably consistent. We stay focused within the industries we know. Our consulting-side operations maintain a boutique structure, choosing to work closely with a select number of annual clients.

We provide senior-level strategy together with hands-on implementation. We remain flexible as client priorities, technologies and markets evolve. We believe that technical accuracy, integrity, industry knowledge, and relationships matter. And we measure our value by the meaningful commercial progress that we help our clients to achieve.

Most importantly, we continue to work as an extension of our clients’ own in-house teams, bringing an experienced outside perspective while never forgetting what it is like to sit on the client side of the table
